I am the owner of a Reliant Scimitar SS1 Cabrio SS1, build 1987 with a 90 PS Ford engine, I´m the second owner, I bought it from my wife. Now I like to sell the car. My Price ideas is about 5.000 €. The car has never had an accident and it is left side steering for german users i.e. It´s only used during the summertimes and was always parked in a garage. It Is in very good condition. original interieur in leather. Colour is red. There ia also a Hardtop inclusive.

For Sale: 1973 Reliant Scimitar GTE
Registration YUD 109M

Vehicle in need of restoration. Given to me in May 2005 however I
have not the time nor the money to do this vehicle justice. Has been
dry stored. Previous owner spent a fortune on spares and repairs to
this vehicle. All major welding repairs to the chassis completed. I
have 5 of the previous MOT certificates from before it was taken off
the road and a tax disc displaying an expiration of 31.07.1985. I
also have a photocopy of the old-old style V5 which had to be sent in
to the DVLA.

However here is the best part. All I want for this vehicle is £50 and
for someone to take it away. First person to contact me with the
means to do that gets it. The vehicle is currently being stored in
Seaton Delaval which is a short drive from Newcastle Upon Tyne.

Clutch master cylinder has recently been replaced but the clutch is still not 100%.

Believe that it was bought new by the MD of Boots for his wife but they moved abroad shortly after buying it hence the low mileage. It then had another owner for a short time before my father purchased it last year. He completed most of the work but unfortunately died before he finished. The car is in Devon and has been kept garaged.

rebuild - expensive low compression heads by Burton engineering, big
valves, new guides, 3 angle seats. Very solid bottom end, excellent
oil pressure - complete with high pressure fuel pump, pressure
limiting valve, plenum chamber to fit Weber DGAS, trunking, K&N
filter, turbo (needs seal replacement) ss exhaust system & manifolds.

I have a friend that has a 2dr v6 gte in need of restoration, and since
its parked in my lockup and he has nowhere to put it it has to go, he has
asked me to try and sell it for him ebay etc.... but as a old skool ford
enthusiats I know that the forums are the best place for something like this
to be made GOOD use of, wether that be restored or used to keep dozens of
other alive and kicking.
If it was a Ford It would be mine and put in the restoration line up, but I
have no interest in these to be perfectly honest.
Anyway if you or indeed a fellow enthusiast is interested please drop me a
line for further info, he only wants £100 for it just to cover some of the
storage charges he has accumilated for it, I can be contacred on
